learning to love
that which is untold, that which is untasted
that which sustains, that which prolongs
sought and yet unclaimed
unsure and yet content
that which is known, that which perishes
that which is fallable, that which destroys
whose will, his or my own
whose cause do I seek
the path he leads

i question that which is unclear
i live with no regrets, and yet i come to him broken

rest, peace, shelter

temptation, percecution, deception
belong to the father of lies
my flesh is weak, it longs for satisfaction
it begs to be fed
but my flaws speak of his glory, my condition of his mercy
